New Blog
Weekend makings and a winner!
So this will become a staple at Marley & Lockyer.
What do you think?
As I mentioned before, I attempted to sort my office.
Didn't get very far - sidetracked really.
I found some unused canvases which I had painted Tractors and the like for the boys rooms
when they were born.
They needed to be used.
Just out of things I had around the room.
A penny farthing from one of my Necklaces and some vintage buttons.
Oh and some warm white paint to cover the Tractors and sailboats!!
Voila!
A new addition to my office picture wall, which is coming along nicely.
There is another one which is being finished and I think they will look great together on the wall.
As you can see I enjoyed my weekend.
I hope you did too.
I do have to let you know who won the Ramsign Enamel Sign Giveaway before I head off.
Random picked #40 which belongs to

Blogger Friends Are Amazing....
Now, I took these images as I opened it...I could hardly wait!
This gorgeous sack is where the gorgeous Lavender scent was coming from, and it is chock full of it. When I came back after picking the boys up from School and Pre School, the house was enveloped in Lavender and it was beautiful!
even the ribbon was lovely and I love the number 6 and the lion image on this chunky linen.
Now you see why it made my day better?
What a beautiful gift to send to someone.
Maria, these gifts are gorgeous and you are a gorgeous Woman. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Stop by Maria's blog DREAMY WHITES if you haven't already and look at her other beautiful vintage linen finds.
Now onto the next package...
...it was presented beautifully...
IT'S A VINTAGE FRENCH POSTCARD!
Now, I did know this was coming as a while ago the gorgeous Vicki sent me an email letting me know she was sending me this card in the mail, but I had forgot it was coming with all that I have in my head right now with Christmas orders to get through and the like. So it really was a surprise...a beautiful surprise!
For a peek at Vicki's amazing French Life visit her blog FRENCH ESSENCE
It is from the sweet Tine, who has the gorgeous blog URUGUAY LIFE.
I had commented on one of her posts a little while back about some lovely wooden pegs she had and how they would look great with my embroidered peg bag I recently made
...so Tine sent me some! She is so sweet.
Again, inside was a lovely handwritten note, some gorgeous white embroidered ribbon and this little block type postcard...
...on the other side is this vintage image of a Woman.
Here is a close up of the springs on the pegs. I love them. The ones we have here are drab!
Thank you so much Tine for your sweet gift. It just goes to show that blogging friends are the most thoughtful and caring Women around and I am continually amazed by the power, camaraderie and friendship we all share even though we are miles away.
...I did have a little happy cry surrounded by the thoughts of these lovely Women and I thank each and every one of you out there for making this journey such an enjoyable experience...and for making this get a whole lot better =0)
Have a wonderful weekend, Ness xx
Lockdown...
Hey There!
The basket of vintage linens is calling again and now that all of my orders are caught up on I can sew without a worry, which is when I usually create the best sellers! =0)
And, I can also make up some more Christmas stockings with my stash of red fabrics.
I do plan on having copious amounts of coffee and a sit in my adorable white slip covered wing back chair in between all this too
The Inside Story
Hi Everyone!
I love this shot ans it is over there too....
as well as this one which just screams Spring for me.But what I loved when I stopped by there was this...
...how very, very true.I Found It!!! it's gorgeous.
I found it!!! the blog I was talking about yesterday. Maria from Cologne was kind enough to let me know that it belongs to the lovely Stina. The blog is called Lilla Kullan and the images are just beautiful.
Just lovely!
Her living room is beautiful, but I wont spoil it for you. Head over to Stina's gorgeous blog for a peek.Is this your kitchen?
I had hoped to introduce you to this gorgeous blog today, but i have forgotten to save the name of the blog! It seems the mind fairies have been in dusting cobwebs away...and everything else with it!!!Wonderful Whites
I found some beautiful images whilst going through an old usb stick that I thought I might show you. This one above I originally spied at lily-g and have always thought it was stunning. You know I love slipcovers and these are just perfect. We couldn't have them at our dining table because it would close in the space, but I have been thinking of a back slip for them. I am so glad the stylist thought to add the natural colours in amongst the white or it would have been too much...I know, coming from me!!
This is not from my usb, but beautiful none the less. It is from a beautiful blogger called Rie. This is Rie's dining room - I know it is gorgeous...what 'til you see the rest! Rie has a stunning blog, Home & Harmony which has become one of my favourite places to visit. Her home is amazing...and for sale...and Rie is such a sweetheart. If you go and look at her blog, you will love it.
