Our first place did not look like this! It belongs to newbie owner Ashley Valentine Goforth, who is the buyer and design assistant for home store Shabby Slips. I love how she has clustered all her antique silverware in the ironstone jugs.
Ashley keeps the patterns to a minimum, so they don't have to compete. I agree with her idea. Love the lamp!

This mirrored chest was a Wedding gift from her Boss, and is a reproduction of a French piece. I really do want some of those chairs.
How comfy is this? The headboard was made to order, and at 76 inches tall it is a feature in it's self. She has skillfully mixed flea market finds (like a $2.50 chair, she covered in cotton sateen) with treasured antiques and everyday items....by the way this is a rental!!!! Ness xx
PS- I am off to look at a new shop on Sunday, bigger, fully renovated and ready to move in. I will take lots of pics, and tell you all about it Monday...maybe Sunday!
