I have had a lot of emails and questions about how I done our Master Bedrooms floors. Well these photos are of our room (in it's un-renovated glory). We have REALLY old Tasmanian Oak boards that are nailed together with hand made nails...so it was not a perfect finish. Anyway, we (Mum and I) pulled up layer and layer of Prostitute Red carpet, mopped the floor and then sealed the gaps with
"Selley's No More Gaps". I ran an old bank card along the gaps to smooth it out...let that dry for a little while, and painted. We used
Cabots "Timber Colour", which I had tinted to
Dulux Chalk USA. Then cut-in the corners and rolled two coats on the floor. Left it overnight and moved the furniture in the next day. I can honestly say, that white floors are WAY easier to keep than our gloss boards...even with 2 boys running all over them. Hope this helps you all. Ness xx
